Orange, myrtle and mint Jam jam is very good with butter on toast or to make cakes. It’s also very good with cheese especially with fresh ricotta and crushed almonds.

Myrtle plant (Myrtus Communis) belongs to the Mirtaceae family and it’s an evergreen shrub. The whole plant is normally used: leaves, flowers and berries. It’s a good remedy for upper respiratory system inflammation, to treat mucus and bronchitis. The leaves contain substances that are very beneficial to the immune system during winter. Mint is an herb that belongs to the Labiatae family (Lamiaceae). It’s used to treat dyspepsia, excessive acid in the intestine, nausea, head and intestine ache. Mint is also used to alleviate itch, mucosa inflammation, bad breath, neuralgic and rheumatic pain.
